The Community Resource Opportunity Project (C.R.O.P.) Foundation, has selected an outstanding candidate to receive our first annual academic scholarship for post-secondary academic study. The recipient, Ms. Shanice Morgan, was awarded $1000.00 to support her study at Roanoke College for the 2017-2018 academic school year. The C.R.O.P. Foundation is extremely proud of Ms. Morgan and we are excited to support her in her academic endeavors.
Ms. Shanice Morgan has distinguished herself through her academic preparation and service to her school/community. Ms. Morgan is a 2017 graduate of Oscar Smith High School, graduating in the top third of her class, with a 3.57 GPA. She is a 2017 Horatio Alger National Scholar and served as President of the Oscar Smith Literary Magazine. She was actively involved with her Theatre club, French club, and distinguished herself in many other activities both in school and in her community.
