Our Board of Directors

The Community Resource Opportunity Project, Inc.'s board of directors, officers, and committee members are all volunteers.  We work on behalf of our children; their success is our payment!

President and Chair of the Board of Directors

Will D. Bronson, Jr., is a Deep Creek High School graduate, and currently serves as a Deputy Associate Administrator in the U.S. Department of Justice’s, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP).  Will has over 18 years of experience in managing local, state, and Federal programs implementing juvenile justice initiatives. Starting his career working as a state juvenile probation/parole officer in the City of Petersburg, VA, and then in the City of Norfolk, VA; Will went on to work for several VA state agencies as a Program Manager, to include, the VA Office of Comprehensive Services and the VA Department of Criminal Justice Services.  Will joined the Federal Department of Justice, OJJDP, in 2009.  Will holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Sociology from Old Dominion University, a Masters Certificate in Project Management from Regis University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix, Richmond, VA campus.  Will is a graduate of the VA Executive Institute, and the U.S. Department of Justice’s, Leadership, Excellence, and Achievement Program (LEAP) for executive development.  Will founded this organization and is committed to improving the lives of youth throughout Hampton Roads, VA.  

 

Director

C.E. “Cliff” Hayes, Jr., a life-long resident of the Chesapeake, VA area is a 1985 graduate of Oscar Smith High School. Cliff completed his B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems, with a minor in Business Administration from Norfolk State University and has further study in management and leadership from Regent University (Virginia Beach, VA), urban affairs at Norfolk State University (Norfolk, VA), The Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia (Charlottesville, VA), The Hampton Roads CIVIC Leadership Institute (Norfolk, VA), and the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard University (Cambridge, MA) John F. Kennedy School of Government’s Innovation in Government Through Information Technology.  In addition, Cliff holds a Master of Management degree in Business Administration from Cambridge College (Cambridge, MA). Finally, Cliff is enrolled at the distinguished Carnegie Mellon University Chief Information Officer Institute (Pittsburgh, PA) to become a certified chief information officer.  Presently, Cliff serves as the Information Systems Manager for the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office. He served as a member of the Chesapeake City Council from 2004 - 2012 and was recently elected to represent the 77th House District in the VA General Assembly.  He is an ardent supporter of senior citizens rights, healthy alternatives for youth, public safety, technology, job creation/retention, and the Chesapeake City school system.

Secretary and Director

Kodi Fleming was born in Norfolk, VA and currently resides in Suffolk, VA.  Kodi is a past Executive Director of Communities in Schools of Hampton Roads where he was responsible for leading a nonprofit organization that spans throughout the Hampton Roads area, providing wraparound services for students in elementary through high school. He has been involved in community service activities throughout his professional career and is committed to improving the lives of youth in Hampton Roads, VA.  He now works in the financial services industry continuing to help those in our community in areas of financial and wealth mangement and retirement planning.  Kodi earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) and his Master of Public Administration degree from Old Dominion University

Treasurer and Director

William Morgan resides in Virginia Beach, VA and currently serves as a licensed Financial Representative for Primerica, a public financial services company. In addition to his financial services expertise, William also has a strong background in working with children and families, having served as a Clinician with the Virginia Beach Department of Health Services (VADHS) and as a Family Service Specialist, also for VADHS.  William has been involved with supporting community engagement efforts for children for years and is devoted to improving the lives of children in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. William has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Norfolk State University and a Master of Arts degree in clinical counseling from South University.

Director

William D. Walker was born in Ft. Meade MD, and currently resides in Newport News, VA.  William currently serves as a qualified mental health provider (QMHP) for Crestar Health, providing mental health services for at risk youth in the Hampton Roads, VA region.  William is also the co-owner of RBF Security Solutions.  William has been involved with child development programming for many years having previously worked as a juvenile detention specialist for the City of Chesapeake and is committed to strengthening the communities of Hampton Roads for all residents.  William is a graduate of Garfield High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Norfolk State University in criminal justice.
